Description

The all-new ZOLL AED 3 BLS Automated External Defibrillator makes the best even better. It improves the best support for rescuers, provided by the AED Plus® since 2002. It’s easy to use and designed upon years of usability research with trained and untrained rescuers. It includes improved Real CPR Help®, ZOLL’s real-time CPR feedback technology.

ZOLL optimized the AED 3 BLS for professional rescuers and provides in-depth rescue support for adult and child victims of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). ZOLL AEDs set the bar for dependability and reliability, empowering rescuers worldwide to save lives.

Features

Designed for Professional Rescuers:

The ZOLL AED 3 BLS provides more detailed CPR feedback for professional rescuers. The AED displays the patient’s ECG, the total elapsed time of the arrest, the remaining time for the current CPR cycle, and the number of shocks delivered. After the rescue event, the Wi-Fi-connected AED 3 BLS can upload clinical event files. The user can later view them in ZOLL’s RescueNet® CaseReview software program.

Real CPR Help®:

The ZOLL AED 3 BLS defibrillator provides Real CPR Help®, which helps providers deliver high-quality CPR by providing audio feedback and displaying the depth and rate of each compression on the CPR Dashboard™.

CPR Dashboard™:

Unique to ZOLL, rescuers can receive detailed real-time visual feedback on CPR quality with the CPR Dashboard™. Users can configure the AED 3 BLS to show the CPR Dashboard™ only or both the CPR Dashboard and ECG. Depth and rate indicators are highlighted in red if the compression rate is too slow or the depth is too shallow when in adult rescue mode. A sensor built into ZOLL’s family of CPR electrodes captures each compression’s rate, depth, and release. Real CPR Help® technology displays all this information in real time on the dashboard.

RescueNet Event Summaries:

See the state of readiness on RescueNet DeviceDashboard. AED connectivity enables fast and accessible event and ECG data distribution to medical personnel. As part of the ZOLL RescueNet software product suite, CaseReview enables the integration of data collected by other ZOLL devices used throughout the patient’s treatment process. RescueNet aggregates data from the ZOLL AED 3, X Series®, and ZOLL R Series® devices used during the rescue at the hospital for review to provide a more comprehensive patient care history.

Intelligent pediatric capability:

Easily convert the AED 3 for pediatric use with the Pedi-padz® pediatric electrodes, which can be purchased separately for children up to 8 years old or weighing less than 55 pounds.

RapidShock® Analysis:

RapidShock analysis creates the industry’s shortest rhythm analysis, allowing the ZOLL AED 3 BLS to deliver a shock in as little as 5 seconds if needed. Minimizing pause time can improve patient outcomes from sudden cardiac arrest and CPR quality.

Comprehensive Automatic Self-Tests:

Know that your AED is ready to go straight away with automatic self-testing. The Zoll Semi-Automatic AED 3 will run a self-diagnosis and notify the user of any pressing issues that would hamper its lifesaving functions. This feature makes maintenance a breeze and helps ensure readiness.

Rugged Design :

The ZOLL AED 3 BLS defibrillator can withstand the extreme environments in which professional rescuers often work. With an IP (ingress protection) rating of 55 and a 1-meter drop test rating, the ZOLL AED 3 BLS is highly impervious to moisture, dust, and rough handling.

Low Total Cost of Ownership:

ZOLL AED 3 BLS includes a battery with a five-year shelf life and an eight-year device warranty. The standard warranty for a ZOLL AED 3 BLS defibrillator is six years from the original ZOLL shipment date. Completing the registration form (serial number required) for your device extends the standard warranty from six to eight years at no additional cost, resulting in fewer replacements, improved readiness, and a low total cost of ownership.

Easy Maintenence:

It’s easy to maintain because Program Management Onboard™ cloud connects via Wi-Fi to ZOLL’s PlusTrac™ AED program management system. No maintenance inspections are needed.

Wi-Fi and USB Connectivity:

Detailed performance data of each rescue is exported easily via USB or transferred directly over Wi-Fi using RescueNet® CaseReview. Use the collected data on CPR rate, release velocity, depth, and compression fraction to evaluate and improve the performance of future responders. AED Wi-Fi connectivity enables fast event and ECG data distribution to medical personnel.
