The Philips HeartStart FRx AED is designed to be easy to use, rugged, and reliable for those who get there first. It does not matter the situation whether it be on the scene with law enforcement, on the field with student-athletes, or on the job with employees, the FRx Defibrillator is the solution for treating Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in environments and conditions too demanding for many other AEDs.

The base of the Philips FRx’s advanced technology is the SMART biphasic technology. This waveform delivers a highly effective shock that is designed to be just enough to correct the heart’s rhythm. SMART analysis technology is designed to ensure the HeartStart FRx AED only shocks when it should. The SMART biphasic external defibrillation therapy is supported by more clinical data than any other AED on the market.

Conducts a series of automatic daily, weekly and monthly self-tests, including pad integrity; bright, blinking green “Ready” light indicates device is ready for use.
TSO-certified battery approved for aircraft
Battery meets requirements for FAA TSO C-142 regulation for use on commercial aircraft.
Pediatric Key
Infant/child key can be used for life of the device and allows for use of adult pads on pediatric patients.
Rugged HeartStart AED model (IP rating: 55)
Withstands rough handling, extreme temperatures, dusty or wet surfaces, up to 1,000 lbs. of crushing weight, and up to a 4-ft. drop, but weighs just 3.5 lbs..
HeartStart QuickShock technology
Allows device to typically deliver a full potency shock within 8 seconds after CPR.

Can be converted to a training device
